I could really try to write you, but they would never be able to see you like I do. The sinister look on your face when you're up to no good, the way the shadows fall so perfectly under the lines and curves of your skin, the way you break out into random, irrelevant songs that are on your Current Obsession on your playlist at the most inappropriate moments. Above them all, the way you like to think of the world in an alternative light - Could there be someone in this world who is doing exactly what I'm doing right now? There has to be someone mouthing the same exact words as I am now. - the way you're scared as hell about some things yet recklessly throw yourself at it. How is it that you entrust your trust into people so easily?

I adore the way we talk as though we're about to cause a revolution. (We are a revolution.) The way we have created an alternate universe for ourselves while being fully aware of our realities. It softens me, really, when you get so vexed about the turmoil going on around the world and speak with such indignation in your voice, as though you've ever experienced such unthinkable injustice. I often muse about how you'd entertain my feminist ways and put down your own, readily acknowledging the devastation that men have caused in this world instead of fighting vehemently for your own gender, all despite having been hurt by a myraid of oestrogen - driven beings.

You take on the world, naively challenging its force to descend upon you so that I may escape unscathed. Which is it - your over-estimation of your capabilities or your overbearing will to protect me from every, single evil of this world? - I can't decide. (I am thinking of the way you speak of these as real threats out to get me, in all seriousness) It amuses me, the way you are so level-headed and serious(deceiving the world), yet are capable of doing the silliest things beyond my imagination, sometimes to irritate, other times to entertain and try your luck at bolting a laughter out of me. Yet under this sensible layer you can be quite the reckless child that you are, in your occasional incapability to reason out your narrowed perspectives. You take after your father's stubborn, absolute nature. I don't ever want to be like him. Yet, you express the innate fear in every son that resists the propensity governed by nature to propel toward a particular characteristic which you've been deeply scarred by.

I love how you ruminate upon my words and give it such weight and thought, bothering to address it despite being plagued by fatigue. You romanticise me, put me on such a pedestal I dare not set foot on. You're the most captivating speaker I know of in the entire world, screw Hitler. And how you so vividly remember the things that I say, even those in passing. (Sometimes you twist my words in your paraphrasing but I forgive you) You willingly allow me to assume superiority and assert my privileged authority over you. I know you love to be in power. But I know, I know too well how you patronise me sometimes, feigning defeat and powerlessness to satisfy my inherent desire for female empowerment.

You are always self - entitling yourself. As though everything legitimises at your proclamation. You couldn't care less. This had always baffled me, until I discovered that beneath that care-less facade you actually do care, and the facade is your shield, your pride, your vulnerabilities. I envy your ability to detach, and discard the hurting past. What is the point of keeping it if its memory is only gonna hurt? That kind of emotional courage, I can never, ever achieve. But as I muse over it, I realise it's your way of living in the moment.

It tickles me when I encounter the child in you, fleeting, but glorious. That short moment when you smile sheepishly or when I make you a promise. You'd think I, of all people wouldn't know how much promises mean to you? You speak of your aspirations with such a child-like passion, in complete wonderment of the great wonders of music writing and self-reproaching yourself for your inabilities to achieve that. (It takes time my child, I believe in you) Yet you possess such a comforting, familiar, fatherly figure which I've always pined for my own father to be.

You are a combination of all the people around me whom I love, with your occasional words that make me for a moment forget that they're not with me. Sometimes, these words throw me into a sea of nostalgia. (Saudade,) But you would quickly sense it and try your best to rectify it. I want to help you forget it completely so that it may never trouble you again. I would then tell you that while these memories may stir up occasional waves of sadness, they have carved themselves in me and become part of me, and re-living them in my mind can be one of the most cathartic therapies. Which is one thing you could never quite comprehend.

We were completely fascinated by the black fowls perching on the electrical line in the rain.. Addy thought they were showering.. Va and I dismissed it completely but she might actually be half right. It could be a spiritual shower; a form of carthartic cleansing we all seek.

What is the modern world doing to adolescents like us anyway? It seems to me that the entertainment in our definition is becoming so..commercialised and superficial..at the very core, transient. (I don't even wanna use "we" now. Some detachment is necessary from this point onwards). When did the individual become so vulnerable to the permeation of a warped culture that has distorted the definitions of enjoyment? Whatever happened to his love for simple, beautiful things (like kite flying and water-drinking competitions? Makeshift homes with blankets and bamboos and burning stuff to see what happens to it?) Why do some allow themselves to be freely controlled by temporary illusions and imagined liberation, only to feel worse after that?

The individual becomes so narcissistic; so absorbed by his own indulgences. Almost every neutral event related to adolescent fun has got a negative image attached to it. Of intoxication and delusions. In his futile attempts to surround himself with people, he paradoxically feels even lonelier, emptier. What would then truly satisfy this vacuum in them? He mistakes it for the lack of love and attention,self - reproachment. This longing to be desired compels him to turn to another individual, a companion, for refuge, for mutual completion. (You are already whole my child, not a half being or a jigsaw puzzle.) But when two empty souls come together and suck each other dry, what happens when this process is over and there's nothing left to burn in the aftermath of their depletion of the sweet incense of each other?

Everyone needs that separate world from which they seek solace and refuge in, blocking out the cold, real world. But what does it take for one to be in this world, but not of this world? To be aware, and sensitive to the intricacies of their surroundings but not be a part of it? I believe it's a spiritual force that we need. The force which the world thinks is "given by the Universe". But the Universe is but a vast cosmos with gazillions of stars and a few planets, what is it going to do to rid us of our narcissim and fill up our emotional vacuum? This spiritual force lies with the God who is able to instill in us that transcendental peace that transcends over the worldly chaos of temporal love and satisfaction. A force so incomprehensible and powerful that draws its creation to that one direction; fuelling them, making them whole.

They will try to make you just like them but you will not align yourself. You will resist that in all your adolescent recklessness and irrationality and divert your attention to things that are much more meaningful. You will be highly scorned at but you'll be happy. Free like the blue kite in the vast magnolia sky, with the thread of glass spool our only limit that bounds us to this earth.

I wish i could capture pretty words and phrases and their tones attached to them and keep them in jars for keepsake purposes. But then again their beauty lies in the fact that they're so fleeting and intangible and if you were to fail to capture that particular moment, when it's being said, you lose it forever.

Tubster~ My bright morning star, Ms Taahira the teacher-tourguide-camp facil. I don't even want to begin to contain the spontaneity that you exude within these confines of my blog space. But I have to let you know this. Your bursts of flamboyance never fail to amaze me, intrigue me, and there's always this captivating sparkle in your eyes - the windows to your soul - through which I naturally fall so gracefully into your world (and crawl under your skin and walk around in it). I'd compare you to a mimosa plant (your fetishes about wanting to be a plant), that sprouts out so confidently in flowery patterns, yet shys inwards so quickly when touched; much like your little random spasms. How i admire your courage to simply let your emotions take over as you attach them like stamps unto your experiences, with each attachment you so willingly share a part of yourself with the world - your world. Book a plane ticket to Bali, colour your hair red like the fire that you are, and be the irrational and reckless(Clementine) that we are all receding from; what with our propensity to consistently align ourselves today. The world needs some of Ta's Spontaneous Potion. Give it to them.

I see us in a cosy, quiet, random place with tiny food(your courtesy) - yogurt, berries, nuts, bread, energy bars - just being us. We'll write each others' eulogies. We'll write women out of oppression. But most importantly we'll write to free ourselves and perhaps attempt to figure out the makings of our noodle brains. And when we're done with our self-ethnography writeup we shall get on the train and drown in Haruchi Murakami's magical words. And perhaps right there and then, in our unplanned moments such as the one you guys encountered with the full moon, might we get struck by epiphanies and revelations.

I found these pictures in the pictures folder.. have been around since last December! It's amazing how my brother's face elongated over the years. A decade ago his entire face would have needed a square frame to fill up the space cus it was totally round.

I'm reading To Kill A Mockingbird at the moment and I'm loving ittt. I could have drilled a hole in the book had I had supervision with the intensity in which I glared at the words which described the injustice which scout faced. I think it's wonderful how Lee gave us an intellectual yet innocent perspective through Jean Louise. Cus the two almost never come together.

What does it really take to know someone? Could it be when you can start reading their minds and finishing their sentences? Or is it when he/she helps you to truly know yourself? Thanks Ta for the Haruchi quote, beautifully evocative :')

Flea-ing was an experience, but really not my colour of dress(cup of tea). I'm just not the type of person who can station at one place for prolonged periods of time. Or the type who'd seek joy in stagnation. It bores the hell out of me and makes me feel really oppressed. It's nice that you're in a place where everyone is making transactions and ending up happier than they were before(^ SOL), but the place was just very unconducive): It was crammed, loud(AWFUL music!), stuffy and generally uncomfortable. There were too many things all happening at once and it was too overwhelming for one to even begin to appreciate their surroundings. ): Well at least I now know which career path I'm never gonna take.

On a lighter note, I've been ruminating about certain things lately. One of them is about how people should learn to be more aware of their own thinking. (Metacognition) If one could place herself in another person's shoes, only then can she achieve a deeper level of understanding of that person, and not do silly, irrational things. But then again we are all born with the right to be crazy sometimes (:< cray cray

Disclaimer: I hate kicking start reflections and resolutions.. they always come out cliche. Also I'm pretty bad at consolidating thoughts but I shall give it a shot.

2010 has been an eventful year for me, but mostly a year of redemption and of change. Repeating JC1 had been a major blessing in disguise for me as I've had the opportunity to do so many things better, being more prepared for what was to come. Then again, it wasn't so much of a redemption as it was a completely different experience for me. Although I was pressurised to excel the second time round, I soon realised that what was more important was what I did to get there, and how difficult yet crucial it was to maintain the necessary determination and focus. While there were times when I got weary, it wasn't my deepest desire for studying to be a chore. I wanted to seek the will to get smarter everyday and appreciate the knowledge that is ever so available to me. Aptly, I read Flowers For Algernon (a book recommended by my secondary school Lit teacher which I never got about reading) and it changed my life. I realised the folly of humanity in not appreciating the beauty of gaining knowledge itself. Rather, we're too focussed on the benefits that this knowledge can bring us. While I can easily learn things if I want to, Charlie can't no matter how hard he tries because his brain is fixed at a certain level of IQ which broke my heart): The 2nd major event was of course my trip to the magical city where dreams come alive. I have since released boundaries which I shall not even begin to talk about. While there were a number of events which left their impressions on me, these are the velcros that stick. As eccentric and disoriented that I may come across as, I'd like to say that i've come to embrace my lack of structure as a form of free-spiritedness. While I'm aware of the basic responsiblities that I need to showcase in my writing, my personal objective is to immediately articulate the sparks and revelations that hit me fresh from the oven and not put them aside where they lose their flavour. As for the people of 2010 who boarded and alighted my hypothetical train, I'm thankful for those who have in some way or another enriched my life. As for those who stayed on I am eternally grateful to the ends of the infinite universe and I feel very blessed alongside the undying love that God has for me.

Moving on to a lighter note, my resolutions for 2011 are simple (in no particular order):
#1 Save moolah
#2 Read the papers regularly
#3 Exercise regularly too
#4 Watch online TV instead of the real TV
#5 Stay focussed on my studies
#6 Spend wisely
#7 Have a book with me at all times
#8 Revive English Drama
#9 Skip school start fights (in other words rebel a little)

a) Our sleepover as usual, did not have its theme followed. Even the setter wasn't dressed accordingly: Winter Wonderland. But the kitchen ain't a place for the fancy schmancy we were successful potentials going on high speed cooking all day movies all night mentally going crazy because of the imagined non-existent blair witch sleeping within one log space waking up to baby screams and pancakes <3 It's really nice having a whole house to ourselves for a day. I'd go with what ta calls it: "being grown ups without the responsibility"

Addy's lines before the durian puffs arrived were supposed to be "Min I think I need to take a dump" but she inconspicuously changed it to "Min i'm gonna buy food"(x2) as she yelled it twice but still i had no idea that was my cue to act natural and "distract" va. but come to think of it that's awesome cus i didn't have to act. Haha sorry addy!i didn't realise what was going on till some 5mins later which happened to be just in the nick of time (phew) Don't the hawker photos look like those horrible Yummy King ads they have infront of stalls where they've visited? Like those with the hawkers and the celebs.. anyways, happy 18th turdface! i love you and you are forever and ever magical (':

yesterday night's msn conversation was pretty uptight as we were wrecking our brains and dishing out our stalking skills for places to go in sg. We came up with a list of places in the end, but still couldn't decide where to celebrate boh's bday + our first friday that is allowed to not be spent in the heartlands. 2hours before we were supposed to meet shal finally mass texted everyone that the first stop is gonna be craig road and the second, ann siang hill where we made new discoveries of magical places such as the wonderful world of Stickys which smelt of every candy flavour fused together and which looked like a laboratory with all the round bottom flasks and glass jars arranged neatly according to colour. This is where my Programmed mode doesn't come in too handy cus I couldn't capture the tiny flavour labels thanks to the grainy effect): ta got checked out multiple times by several foreign workers. i think it might have to do with her very attractive loose high-waisted skirt which was held up by hidden safety pins. shudup ta it's pure evidence that you lost weight. couldn't help but stop and stare at the vespas decorating the road and trying to identify the various models like a pro. Got pretty upset at the filming crew for occupying Books Actually but the night revived when we walked by a group of drunk caucasions screaming to the tune of sweet child and messing up the lyrics at a bar next to the bookstore. missing newyork every now and then when an object of reminder heartlessly appears before me. Happy birthday boh! hope you had a great time(: great selection of celebration crew ;)

Post ny breakfast with the girls! We had a very thought-provoking, mind boggling talk about our personalities and arrived at a conclusion that ta is the fireworks/crackers that bursts in celebration, shal's the fireplace that keeps the house warm and ppl wanna draw near to her but not too close; vicky's the candle light that burns quietly in serenity, kavi's the forest fire that spreads aggressively and i'm bonfire..? Go figure. There were occasional irrelevance and digression like the sudden outburst of singalong with The Hush Sound on the stereo or neon lights and fire extinguishers.

To compress my feelings and thoughts about my 10 days in the (quote Va) "city where dreams are made of" would be to undermine the entire experience of freedom, expression, and basically being awake in my dreams. Finally setting foot on the land where celebrities troddle on in movies, you have no idea how long it took for it to sink in. Since i'll never be able to re-capture the moment, I shan't even begin to try. On another note, here are the highlights: tenements everywhere, lunching in the university of columbia where Nate Archebald and Blair Waldorf school at, hopping our way around so we don't freeze, chilling in the hostel lobby, snapping away like dorks at every limousine, surviving on hot chocolates and lattes to fix our jetlags, being inspired by the art all around nyc because it's very existence is an art form on its own and everything that is in is magical."touch each other in a celebratory manner"

I spent an hour making my very first Eggs Benedict this afternoon. The toughest part was poaching the eggs and making the Hollandaise sauce which i'm going to have to master or i'll be feeding my family and friends (or myself) raw yolk which is not very ideal... Spent a great deal of time lemon-izing the yolk stench out of my fingernails): But my virgin kitchen experience was greatt and very rewarding. I attempted to make Bircher Muesli too but the Oat substitute was not a good idea at all. I wanna make Caramelised banana waffles soon (:Gotta get the waffle mixture! I think my minuscule culinary skills could finally get me some friends! Oh what's that, a friend request on facebook? I think it's working!!

I am suddenly fatigued. Drained as though i've travelled through the 18 years I've lived on a train. In this time period when my closest friends are not by my side I feel a perpetual need to learn to be independent. As though this is training for the near future where I would be the one having to distance; isolate myself away from everyone else to study. At the moment I feel as though I'm being intoxicated by the kind of sick you experience when you cross the line from freedom and independence over to loneliness; too much isolation. The worst part of it being the subtleness of it when in the midst of preparation you find that you're already on the other side. I feel a sense of victory yet self-pity at the same time for moving along with what is being thrown at me, breaking and mending things along the way.

For every thing that triggers a tear or breaks a heart-string it somewhat fuels your adrenaline as it puts you in a position where you expose your weaknesses for that split second and you make an unexpected self-discovery. It empowers you most of the time, but at times you wish you never knew that about yourself as sometimes, ignorance is bliss.

It is between the unexpected transitions between your old self and your new one where you feel most naked. As though you are in the midst of some sort of creation that is meant for nobody to witness. hiii neglected one, i'm back from my study hibernation and finally found the motivation to blog again. (well actually i only blog here if i have pictures..or if i am determined enough to upload them) June's fridays were the only life i had of the study break. and even so we meet each other with the bookface. B-)

anywayss ta and i spent yesterday at rail mall(: (because it's rail mall) "[she] [somehow] decided to dress a jungle look." ok maybeee we were there cus i wanted to strike "Do some Tumblr-esque photography" off the to-do list; my very simple list of things to accomplish after exams. [cut hair, recommend Eumora to my friends, Topshopping, watch Eclipse(/that cute annoying girl), run, bake without an oven(i will elaborate), and collect my pay] i am overdoing the parenthesis aren't i... so anywayss it was ta who ninja-ly snuck me into the rail place(i swear i never knew how to) and it was also her brilliant idea to climb the freakishly steep hill in her flip flops(which broke btw, which i fixed) she made me climb too but surprisingly the monkey in me didn't unleash itself ystd..or since the tree incident..ANYWAYS my lightning fast mind brought me to the end of the hill where it meets the ground level and i ran up the hill from there. oh it was also ta's brilliant idea to place her belongings on the track edge, claiming that "nobody will take them" and that "the train will only come once in 10 million years". hahahhahaha uh-huh.

So when we were taking bangla pictures on the hill, the train ZOOOOOMED past and we screamed at each other for 7 whole seconds i can bet and we were jumping on the spot i wanted to cry laughing. When we went down we saw the remains of her belongings(mine was still intact thank God) her torn "shoe bag" one shoe went missing, and her guava juice got dragged 10 miles away. i found this paper mache of something i don't wanna know what and i scared her into thinking that was her shoe. hahahha i knew something was fishy when her shoe broke! so foreshadowing. heh. But after walking for abit we found her other shoe(: and we went running after that which was soooo good exams make people so unfit and stiff. >:(

Friday night fellowship was just what we all needed - a seemingly endless night of honest reviews and naked updates. I prepared the pixie dust, topdeck, gummy bears, rough paper, starlight and a Saudade playlist just for the night and the girls came over to my place for some goodtime. The theme was supposed to be grey comfy-chic pjs and i sorta assumed they would think the same but we have people coming in jeans/jean skirts *glares at the guilty. Count yourself lucky I didn't send you out cus you know, the vacancy could be given to some people(one) who was trying to gatecrash the pseudo sleepover and would kill for an opportunity like this. T handed us her post-birthday thoughts in essays and placed them in crisp white envelopes sealed with a princess sticker. And ok each princess supposedly represented each of us (since we made her Jasmine on 7June) so I got Ariel, K got Cinderella (maid image not the pretty gown and ball one), and S got HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
yeap, "the fairest of them all". You'd think she'd get Aurora for loving sleep/Belle for those pretty locks but HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH

Later we played this game (which i made up but i can bet it alrdy exists somewhere in the world) where we were split into 2 teams and one team member has to write a lyric of any song and let the other team guess the song within 1 min and after the 1 min if they don't guess it, the other person on your team can guess. That way, you can't pick an un-guessable one lest your team mate can't guess if the other team fails to. Ah, i marvel at the brilliance of the game. ahaha. For some reason we get people shutting their eyes and ears seemingly painfully tight while guessing the song. Others, bang everything in sight with their fists.*guilty After that for some other reason we went insane laughing at nothing, at everything. I think the lying-on-your-back-while talking trick does smth to the funny bone. Okay no perhaps it was just cus T was happily ~~throwing~~ catapulting heads around.

the first surprise

here comes Princess Jasmine(:just before the second surprise.

i was in a tad bit of a dilemma when i was adjusting the brightness and contrast bar cus I thought that some pictures would look better dreamy and others better off strong. So pardon me for the incongruent editings!

Sooo yesterday was our execution of part ll of mission T: Return of the Redeemers.. i mean Ta's 18th! Everything went better than I expected, the out of the blue blindfolding-on-the-train, the timing, the low blows>:) The place we chose, was so magical and obediently peaceful just as we wished it to be. Setting an Arabian palace for Princess Jasmine in Chinese garden wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do, but everything turned out so smoothly that we somehow, with our presence and genius imagination and mostly brilliant manipulation of the birthday girl made her Princess Jasmine for the day and transformed the pavillion into her palace. We broke 2 champagne glasses for the ceremony but managed to secretly replace them with the Macdonald's worldcup glasses with our upsizes. As for the Aladdin lamp... let's not talk about that. Some of the genies disappeared to fetched Jasmine her last wish, while genie minty was waiting for a sign and had to think up a masterplan to drag time so we started scraping wax like good citizens. Soon the genies came back with wish no.3 and dayumn it was like a hit and run >:)

Last Friday I finally got a chance to slip on that magical tunic I got awhile back. When all else fails, Topshop never(': The reptilian design makes me wanna cry. Totally owns all the snake rings combined. >:)

I have always been in awe of Shakespeare's brilliance so it would be a great challenge to manifest this brilliance into a theatrical play. When I say I enjoyed the play, I think I'm subjectively referring to the playwright. The effort in the directing was laudable and I was particularly impressed by the accuracy of the character Katherina on stage and the one in my expectations which Shakespeare has moulded. However I was very disappointed in the people playing the characters Petruchio, Lucentio, Biondella and Bianca. Perhaps it was due to their less than idealness in their physical appearance in comparison to the characters in the TOTS movie. Perhaps it was their presentation of the character. Either way, the play managed to capture the key issues and trigger certain realisations with the director's added wit, but ultimately the pupeteer remains to be Shakespeare.

Ever since LTC, I've realised my fiery commitment to this responsibility I have over the English Drama Society and I am determined to share this mentality with everyone and push ourselves to heights. This year, we will create a legacy. (:

For the past 3 days of torture, pain, tears, sweat and blood, i have adopted a new perspective. I don't hate the president of SC (that much) anymore. "So basically", this was what i have been up to for the past few days.

1.13km trek with full bagpacks
2.Getting punished (14 rounds around the track and 50 pushups)
3.Being camel
4.Aggravating my blister from the trek
5.Dying a little inside each time someone says "wake up"
6.Dying inside out when the fire drill killed our beauty sleep
7.Died when the food ran out after food messing duty
8.Died a dog's death when my name was called out for night sentry duty immediately after i slipped into the sleeping bag

10.Being angsty

For the first time, words cannot fully describe the mental and physical challenges that i've been through. Or perhaps it's just my vocab deficiency.
Albeit these, (which are aloooot of things to albeit) I have emerged stronger and I am ready to do this. I will look at you with passionate eyes overflowing with the 5 core values of the college.

last Friday saw us at (the very beauuuutiful)Keppel Bay celebrating Vicky's 18th(: Happy birthday Vickyy you looked so gorgeoussss you could almost replace taylor swift in her videos:D hoped you enjoyed yourself queenie(: We helped ourselves to some Prive goodness which I swear were soooooper filling despite its size. - I think they put some kind of make-you-feel-full cocoa stuff in there - before going over to where the yachts reside........

The unending vast midnight sky hovered over the white yachts like a masterpiece Marchesa blanket embroidered with the few delicate stars on it that you'd have to look hard to be able to spot. (: So anyways, Kavi and I spontaneously switched roles that day. she was in a dress and leggings and I was in her usual shirt and jeans which i never donned! I felt a little queer and thrown off being in such a beautiful place in my under-dressed self but I badly wanted to wear the band tee after nearly 3 years of dormance in my closet!

Actually more often than we realise, it's better for us to not have a choice in some decisions. Because sometimes when we do have a choice, the amount of responsibility which we're endowed with is so inexplicable we'll never be able to make it.

my lower back is still hurting from the fall the other day):
ok i shall now talk about the fall.
so it was raining....kinda slippery....va decided to take a picture on the tree. she didn't climbit in the end cus it was too high. (or should i say cus she's smart) But the enthu spider monkey in me had to climb up the damn tree situated ominously in the middle of nowhere in raffles place.
and as i was picking my second foot up, my first foot slipped and i slammed on the concrete ground on my back)': i could feel the stupidity so i was laughing amidst my agony and sul was happily taking pictures of my traumatising experience (and rubbing my back and praying for me) while va fanned me with her bowler hat and addy shaded me from the sun with her umbrella. some real life powerpuff girls right there! the entire trauma lasted for a whopping(i hate this word to bits) 8mins and they dragged me to mac after that.

On Monday an angel prepared breakfast-in-a-brown-paperbag for me it was the sweetest thing ever (': xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

lit learning journey would have been much more enriching had i paid more attention to Diane X: but she spoke like a recording, so mechanical, so..unlistenable-to..ish. The eggs at Colbar were the (second)best tasting sunny-side-ups you could ever taste (apart from the ones i had ystd ^^), and Va's Fringe Benefits' Chocolate Tart was the heavenliest thing in this world - apart from the chocolate mousse in the chocolate-banana fruit tart i had after dinner mmmm. But i'll forever still love my sesame paste/red bean sago/beancurd xxx

We finally had our long awaited dinner picnic at Bottle Tree Park ystd! (: As its name suggests, it's a dinner-picnic cus we all had to bring our own dinner to dine alfresco there. Okay maybe it doesn't suggest that after all. The place was so magically beautiful esp with my lovely badly missed bunch of people i love you guys to bits and pieces and crumbs! Some intense sharing session under the giant umbrella and we got to our feets and that was when the mischief began: snapping pictures of strangers and complaining that they blocked our view, setting all our 500 pounds of weight in a carriage, jumping off white chairs into a piggyback position, tricked boh into under-dressing by making him think he was going to some desolated park.
Ohhhhhh boh,vicky and i also taught the non-chinks some basic hokkien and canto words and showed them the stark contrast in their glam-ness and they totally caught me in my bias-ness yelling "JIA PAH BUEH" in the most uncouth manner followed by a demure "lei sek bao mei" both meaning "have you eaten?".

Why won't anyone believe in harem shorts/!?!??!

last friday va, sul and addy celebrated mindy day.
they all got the same hair accessory from aries with addy's discount card!! when i saw them in the morning during assembly, my immediate reaction was to ask them why i didn't have one...little did i know what they were up to...

today, i laughed soooooo hard when i was drinking water and picturing hanif and his stupif face in my mind. I tried holding it back but my throat just shut tightly and i couldn't swallow it in. It was sooooooooo funny cus hanif was writing "Yes. I am able to." to all the "Am i able to distinguish/draw diagrams..?" econs questions and i was imagining what it'd be like if ms toh sees his unscrupulous work and i ttly pictured her letting him off after seeing his uncorrigibly round face with drool hanging at the side of his mouth, cross-eyed.

i swear i could have died.

today saw two sleepyheads at the very beautiful very peaceful Ann Siang Road. The weather didn't do us any justice at all and we were searching for air conditioned places the whole time. But the beauty of the place couldn't stop us. Every corner of it is an artwork on its own. |

Met Addy for flea time after. Loved her dress to bits! Got stepped on maaaany times): But I got a Pull and Bear top at a craziest price. (worth-it applause)
