Costume Party

HELLO PARTYGOERS!!

So.........THE YEAR'S GONNA FRIGGIN END! AGAIN!
I'm kinda freaking out a little, as i wreck my brains over my 2008 achievements.
After panicking for a while [at yesterday's disco:D], I realise, i've actually grown a lot & 2008 isn't nearly as bad as how everyone describes it. We shouldn't let the economy determine how our year went!

Parents: Stay at home & countdown on TV. Me: ): ))))))))))): HEYYYYY!!!! ):< )':
So this year i told them, if you guys are gonna stay home & boringly countdown on TV, imma join my peeps. Unless you take me out for countdown or smth fun, i'll follow you guys.
[haha minus the pal-ish tone and add in a lil scared tone with a tinge of rebel-ness]

Okay this is freaky. Pocahontus is showing on Channel 5 :O

2008 has been the year where all the media hoolabaloo kicked start(:
It's a nice memory, all those DWUW moments..ahh(:

Talking about filming...I auditioned for this role in a film production called The Irony & i got in!!!*Jumps for joy! :D Filming will start the week after next, on the 15th, 16th & 18th Jan. I hope i can get some pictures on set for old times' sake. What an irony that i'm beginning 2009 with filming, just like how i did in 2008.

Went window shopping with mum just now. She's damn cute luh. She randomly just rotated her eyeballs all around then out of a sudden she exclaimed "aiyah aiyah aiyah Giddy." HAHAHA. What's that for man? Self inflicted agony. :D

Oh ya you partygoers better love me for being the emcee cum photographer of the night ya! Run around with the camera & the mic you know! :D :D In a dress you knooow! Okay i'm self pitying again. :/ Ahhh traffic jam's coming soon, people send in your wishes NOOOW!!!

Here's a toast to a FANTABULOUS 2009!

p.s A day before the party i was as sick as a.terminal stage cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy. Praise the Lord i recovered in time for the party. (:

Remember the times when we played pretend?
They're back.

SPARTANS OUTING

Poor Gerald.HAHA!

I have more pictures of yesterday, but they're with Irlada and Shanya.
Guys if you're reading this, DO SEND ME HURRY!! (:
I'll flood this place with pictures of Zhiyang(my idol)
and you'll see why i'm sucha huge fan of him. HAHA:D

Hey i'm not the only one(:

We had:
Dodgeball,
Captain's balloon (failed),
Captain's frisbee (failed),
Captain's ball (succeeded!-it was the original one anyway),
Imitating of SLs,
Monkeying on the beach,
Burying people(oh i love this)
Throwing people into the sea,
Dare and double dare.

:D All these definitely beat rotting at home.

Looking at you, i recognise a reflection of someone familiar;
someone who died in me while trying to be like you.

i wished for you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS WORLD

X'mas party at Shal's place(: Well we went to the Galloways' party first;
but only for a short while.
It's always heart warming to gather with the few
people that you love & love being around. They always give me a fuzzy feeling, a warm sensation where you know you can say the stup
idest** things and still get away unscathed. Well most of the time is because the stupid things fall on deaf ears or other times, cause they forgive you almost instantly. Hehe. awwh.

My faavourite(: The glutton and the anorexic.

**stupid stuff are like when people are in the midst of talking about a party you've just been to, you sudenly forget that you were there a moment ago and you go "wow" when they talk about how gorgeous the decor is; or smth.

We are never the ones we think we are, we are the ones we pretend with all our hearts we can't become.

An hour past the last hour of X'mas Eve.

You may not be someone i'll live with,
but you're someone i'll live for.

Merry X'mas.

curse you Jason Underhill.

MY LEG MUSCLES HURT SO BAD. ):

HELLO YOU!

I just had my keyboard lesson and im meeting kavi in a while for work[:
yes, work! it's gonna be my second day today im so excited! Girls really are
privileged at Ritz, it aches my heart to see the guys being tortured by those
darn biased managers.*growls

Here's Ian all prepared for work(:
Tadaaa like the upside down smile nerdhead!

Alrighty gotta make this short and sweet. Fashion show wasn't as good as i expected it to be. The only thing i liked was the local band playing during breaks where the models get changed. Heh. And perhaps a couple of mod designs but everything was quite a failure i mean. phailure cause the "runway" was well, not exactly one and the "models" weren't exactly models. They looked like people my age who are just up there to earn some money during the holidays. If i was the manager i'd be soooooooo fired up with them, seriously.

Im very cross with Jerome ):<. Otherwise i'd have dedicated a short
segment of this post wishing him happy birthday.

And Siddiq, i've made the video[: I'll upload it when i'm free!

LOVE YOU ALL!
don't let them change your mind..

100x fashion show @ The Heeren

I was at Expo with my family yesterday, because my mum dragged us to attend some
buddhist talk that i'm not the least bit interested in, (she knew i'd give her an absolute no had she told me where she was taking us to --- EVIL!!) but while i was there i saw many attention
seeking cosplayers walking around the place, d'oh attracting attention. Well it started off with this two cosplayers (the girl has pink hair and the guy, orange) queing up for lunch at BK. At first i was kinda alright with it, i was like, okaay, give it to them, they're courageous enough to
walk around in public in those ridiculous stripey socks and heavy eye makeup with glitter, not to forget their ballerina step punk skirts with black china lacing. (If you beg to differ with me, please navigate away from this page now.) --- I wouldn't be so mad if they were in character! I've seen those professional ones who stay in character all the way and i give it to them.

Alright so when i turned around, i saw A WHOLE BUNCH OF THEM, then i suspected they were there for some display or like. But they got on my nerves when they started standing in people's way like it's their prerogative since they are...well i shan't continue. I got kinda pissed because they WANT the attention, because they LOVE the attention, and because people who looked were GIVING them the attention. North, South, East, West, North-West, North-East..
sheesh! I really could have lost my rag and confronted them...really. But really, the more they crave for this attention, the more i equate it to low self esteem. Okay i could be generalising but doesn't it all make sense that since they can't get the attention they need by being themselves, gee, "why not be an anime character?" alright so i got bored and i walked past all the halls in Expo and finally got to Hall 1. When i opened the glass door, the noise just crescendo-ed on me and to my horror, all the rest of them were there. I took a deep breath and stepped inside. I was just making my way through the cosplayers (without giving ANYONE any eye contact) when some guy called out my name. (i freaked out like nobody's business.) It was Yuan Quan! hahah, i ALWAYS bump into him wherever i go, the other time was NYDC, and now Expo! In case anyone else catches me there among those cosplayers -- which i don't wanna have anything to do with, i left the place.

to pro-cosplay people, please understand that i've got a historical hatred for anime.

then dad bought donuts and my he and bro went to play billiard while my mum and i played cards.(it sounds very boring but it was fun, surprisingly) family activities i guess.

In the evening was another traumarama. i got Kavi's block number all mixed up cause i was too traumatised that i couldn't get hold of Junda's guitar. Pray that the TGM will be found. :/

Im so stoked about the fashion show this evening!

P.S Miss South Africa, you weren't in top 3 because you were too full of yourself.

I've done all these things (actually, more) in the past ___ days/weeks
and have been feeling relatively accomplished. But there are still things that
need to be done /: Mission's still incomplete.

Well actually, how do you consider a mission as completed?
How do you define completion?
I measure completion with the level of sense of satisfation that you get after
your accomplishment. There are people who see that they do
more than what is expected of them each time they're faced with a task
so they stretch themselves. On the contrary there are people who gets contented
with what looks done on the surface, and hence get their sense of satisfation
from the fact that they are clever enough to "cut cost" but achieve the "same results"
as those who see to every detail of the task.

Okay digression; back.

Ahh i hate postponage): [is there sucha word?]
Double date was supposed to be on last Monday, but was postponed to this Tues, then this Wed, then this Thurs, then it got CANCELLED. *gasp* -- i hope not :/

It's kinda hard to gather a group of people from all around Singapore to meet up.
